Peter Parker Rush  b. 7 Nov 1823, Marion County, Mo. Married 29 Dec. 1846 in Buchanan Mo.
According to the 1900 Marion County Census he was a farmer. He died 25 February 1906 Marion County, Mo. His father is John Rush 1764-1828.
His mother is Martha “Patsy” Daugherty 1781-1845.  His spouse is Elizabeth Daugherty 1831-1908. She was born St. Clair, Bellville, ILL
(Son of John Rush) (1860 Census) age 36, Farmer, Dwelling 514, Wife Elizabeth (Daugherty-Rush) age 29, Sara Daugherty age 59, (Elizabeth’s Mother), Sam Dougherty age 26.  Peter P. Rush Corporal, Co H. enlisted March 21, 1863, Palmyra, Mo. 53rd Regiment, Mo. Militia, Corporal of the Union Army   sos.mo.gov, Mo digital heritage. Reel: 500794   


Theodore Polk Bowen
(T. P. Bowen) Brother of Stephen Decatur Bowen and son of Stephen M. Bowen.
Served in the 2nd Regiment Union Calvary, M.S.M Company E. and the 11th Regiment Cavalry, MSM Company I.

John Stillwell  (Nephew of Amos Stillwell) Died 17 December, 1905
Martha Belle “Gibson” Stillwell 20 April 1849 and 20 March 1917. John was a private, Co. D; 22 Regt, Mo. Infantry, Mustered at Macon City, Mo. 15 October, 1861. Enlisted 1 August at Hannibal for a term of 3 years then he transferred to Co. C 22nd Regt, Oct 31 Co D and C 22 Mo inf. Private Book Mark 2989C.
 

George Muther, Sergeant, Union Cavalry, Missouri Volunteers, 3rd Regiment Box-61 S00825. Captain Lemon, Enlisted 7 Feb. 1862, Hannibal, Mo Mustered in Palmyra, MO 20 Feb 1862. Discharged 11 May, 1863, Ironton, Mo. Disability age 35. He is at Rush but has a nice stone. He Married Francisca Schutz (Schultz) 20 Dec 1857 Pension records his spouse as Francis Muther.

 
Jesse Armstrong
(1818-14Jan 1888 has a Civil War Headstone and it needs to be cleaned (He is my 3xs great Grandfather) and father of Ida May Armstrong-Bowen-Gibson-Gaskill. He served in Illinois and Missouri. Jesse was in Co. E 2nd Regiment.  cert # 337018
Jesse James Armstrong is his son and Ida Gaskill’s brother
Harry Armstrong is also Ida’s brother

 

Barnhard Resa 30 Oct 1843- 16 March 1916
He was born in Germany. Wife is Mercy Lucas- Resa according to the pension records.He enlisted 1 February 1863 and discharged 16 June 1865 Barnhard was a private in the Union army, Illinois Cavalry, Regiment 14, Company K.  He was taken prisoner and held at the Andersonville, Georgia. He survived!
