HANNIBAL,
MO - In this newspaper article, Martin Lewis, principal of Douglass
School and a member of the executive committee of the Missouri
Association of Music Educators and Administrators, announced that a
statewide music festival for African American student musicians will be
held in April at Lincoln University in Jefferson City. Although a
definite day has not yet been set, the 25-piece band of Douglass High
School will take part in the festival. |
