HANNIBAL,
MO - O. E. Estill was both a coach and a physical education teacher at
Douglass School. At the close of 1959 he had a basketball team
which won the championship of the Conference of Junior High
Schools. Players were Leon Jackson, Larry Thompson, James
Campbell, Sam Williams, Arch Allison, Gale Conley, William Kirk, Isaac
Harris, Robert Howard, Thomas Woodson, Harold Stanton and Gabriel
Hall. The team also won the Huck Finn Basketball Tournament. |
