| DESCRIPTION | THE PLANT - This photograph shows the carpenter shop with its brick walls half constructed. It is evident how many windows the building will have. Notice the long entry board by which wheelbarrow loads of bricks could be transferred to the bricklayers. Also of note is the close proximity of the railroad boxcars (lower middle left) (sitting on a spur of the rail line that was constructed just before or during the early construction) to the buildings.. |

| ORIGINAL FORMAT | Black and white photograph, 9 1/2" by 7 1/2", the number "619" is written in ink in the upper right corner closely followed by an ink spot ; small nick in upper left corner ; slight discoloration down left margin ; oval discoloration on right edge ; slight fraying on two lower corners. The picture is glued to a woven material which extends to the left of the photograph. The material contains several puncture holes (for insertion into a binder). (619) |
