DESCRIPTION |
THE PLANT - This is 1/5 of a picture of
one of the limestone quarries of the Atlas Portland Cement Company in its
early years. There is a lot of activity in this picture, i.e. horse
drawn carts and workers. Although none of the workers are
identified, it would be a safe assumption that they are immigrant laborers
who live in the company city of Ilasco. |
