TITLE Limestone Quarry No. 7 (2nd Panel)
DATE OF ORIGINAL 1906-12-10
DATE OF DIGITAL 2006-2
DESCRIPTION THE PLANT - This is 1/4 of a picture of one of the limestone quarries of the Atlas Portland Cement Company in its early years.  A number of employees can be seen although none are identified. One employee, located in the left center, appears to be carrying a stone fragment to the horse drawn wagon.  On the upper right corner are more employees as well as those employees on the top of the cliff, again with horse drawn wagons. It is a safe assumption that most of them were Central and Southern European immigrants living in the company town of Ilasco
