DESCRIPTION THE PLANT - This is 1/4 of a picture of one of the shale quarries of the Atlas Portland Cement Company in its early years.  The railroad tracks end here.  On the left are a number of laborers, none of whom are identified, but it is a safe assumption that they were immigrants from Central and Southern Europe who lived in the company town of Ilasco.
