Installation of the Intake Well's Crib |

DESCRIPTION |
THE PLANT - The crib hangs suspended
above its final resting place. It must be very heavy : note that
even with the chains holding it, the rebar below it is slightly
bowed. Of particular interest is the employee in front of the
crib. He is wearing diving apparatus, prepared to go into the water
below to adjust the fittings, etc. The man next to him in the dark
clothing is holding the diver's two lifelines : his oxygen hose in the
right hand, his tether rope in the left. None of the employees are
identified. |
