| DESCRIPTION | THE PLANT - This is the Coal Dump for Plant 6. In picture C10146 the dump was just beginning. Now, one month later, the railroad cars have brought, and the workers shoveled, enough coal to create the hill beyond the tracks. A number of employees can be seen, some at the top of the rail mound, shoveling coal, and others, their duties not evident, at the foot of the incline. None of the workers are identified, but in all probability, the majority of them were immigrant workers currently living in the company town of Ilasco. |
