DESCRIPTION THE PLANT - This picture shows the close proximity of the Power House and the Clinker Mill.  The Clinker Mill handles the discharge (referred to as clinker)  from the kiln.  This material resembles small rocks or residue from a blast furnace.  Clinker is basically cement in a lump.

ORIGINAL FORMAT Black and white photograph, 9 1/2" by 7 1/2" ; slight fraying on lower right corner ; the number "682" is written in the upper right corner ; a stain of some type extends from the left edge and continues in the sky portion halfway across the picture.  The picture is glued to a woven material background that extends beyond the left side of the picture.  This material has several puncture holes (for insertion into a binder) (682)
