DESCRIPTION |
THE PLANT - This half of the panoramic
view of the storehouse loss shows the skeleton left after the blaze.
It was one of the two original frame buildings of the plant. Already
men, none identified, are using horse drawn carts to remove some of the
debris. As can be seen through the destruction, other buildings of
the plant were spared ; that speaks to the diligence of the fire
crews. |

7 1/2", 1/2 of a panoramic view measuring approximately 18 1/2"
by 7 1/2" ; upper right corner missing ; piece on center left margin
torn and folded back ; slight fold on lower left corner ; the number
"1179" is written in the upper right corner. The picture
is glued to a woven material background that extends beyond the left side
of the picture. This material has several puncture holes (for
