| TITLE | Three Children in Ilasco |
| DATE OF ORIGINAL | Unknown |
| DATE OF DIGITAL | 2006-2 |
| DESCRIPTION | ILASCO, MO - Although the identities of the three young children are unknown, the location is without a doubt Ilasco, Mo. The house may look a little the worse for wear, but it is still a sturdy house complete with a chimney. The people in the house, therefore, had some heat and cooking facilities. On the left is another house which gives perspective as to the spacing of the buildings. The clothing of the three children is immaculate, keeping in mind that they would have been washed in a large wash tub with a washboard and homemade soap. |
