DESCRIPTION	ILASCO, MO - Almost immediately after the non-Slovak immigrant school children of Ilasco were dismissed from school for summer vacation, the Lutheran Slovak children had to attend several weeks of summer school at the church.  In that way they would not lose touch with their Slovak religion, heritage, and, in the early years, language.  None of the people in the picture are identified.
