| TITLE | Two Businesses in Downtown Ilasco, Missouri |
| DATE OF ORIGINAL | Circa 1928 |
| DATE OF DIGITAL | 2006-2 |
| DESCRIPTION | ILASCO, MO - In the foreground of this picture is the Miller General and Dry Goods Store. At the time of this picture, the building was owned by Chris E and Myrtle Miller. Although it had previously been a store/tavern, prohibition was in effect; therefore, the store operated in the northern half of the building as usual and the former saloon (southern half) was turned into a storeroom. This is the only business building still standing in what was Ilasco. In the background of the picture, across the bridge is a barber shop operated by Clarence Cooper. |
