DESCRIPTION ILASCO, MO - Just like any town in America, the teenagers of Ilasco were anxious to get their drivers' licenses.  To help them become safe drivers, the school offered a drivers education class.  Here we see a number of students posing by the car.  As can be seen on the door, the Chevrolet V-8 Bel Air sedan was donated to the school by D. B. Gray Co., a car dealership located in nearby Hull, Illinois.  The students are identified from left to right as follows : row 1 (seated), Kenneth Glascock, David Johnson, Joel Hankins, Lawrence Yount, and Mansur Samuel ; row 2 (standing), David Polc, Wilbur Dunn, Bob Ingalls, John Booth, Bertha Armour, David Clark, Shirley Gould, Juanita Rosenkrans, and Mr. Warren Kitzman (instructor).
