| TITLE | Stillwell Addition Grade School Students at Ilasco Grade School's May Day Celebration |
| DATE OF ORIGINAL | Circa 1935 |
| DATE OF DIGITAL | 2006-2 |
| DESCRIPTION | STILLWELL ADDITION (a.k.a. Monkey Run, a suburb of Ilasco) - The playground area of the school seems to be very popular. These five girls and five boys, all in crepe paper costumes, are either playing some kind of game or practicing some type of skit (both of these activities would have been part of the May Day celebration) while other children are using the swings. It is a breezy day because the girls are having to clutch their full skirts. None of the children are identified. |
