The boys competing for the title of Huckleberry Finn pose by the dining car of the Mark Twain Zephyr. They are, in no particular order, Billy Thomas, Eugene Logan, Shelby Lee Ward, William Edward Meadows, Jack Kendall, Bill Kendall, Brice Carson, William Greenville, Earl Dunbar and Paul Calloway. The winner of the contest is Harold Timmerman (far left, front row). |
