Public Hearing concerning the 2011 Ad Valorem Property Tax Rate

September 26, 2011

The Board of Trustees of the Hannibal Free Public Library held a public hearing at 4:00 p.m., on Monday, September 26, 2011, in the Woman’s Club Room of the Library.  Present were:  Krystin Cooper, Pam Ginsberg, John H. Hark, Gordon Ipson, and Jeanie Powers.  Also present were Peggy Northcraft and Librarian Hallie Yundt Silver.  

Library Board President called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.  She verified that the meeting was noticed and that a paid legal ad ran on Saturday, September 17, 2011.

Hallie Yundt Silver provided background information on the Ad Valorem Tax Rate.

Peggy Northcraft spoke on the Ad Valorem Tax Rate during Public Comment.

Moved to adjourn by John Hark and supported by Krystin Cooper.  Public Hearing adjourned at 4:12 p.m.
