Public Hearing on the Budget

June 9, 2014


The Hannibal Free Public Library Board of Trustees held a Public Hearing on its Budget at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 9, 2014, in the 3rd Floor Meeting Rooms at Hannibal Free Public Library, 200 South Fifth Street, Hannibal, MO  63401.  Present were: Mike DiTillo and Kim Ahrens.  Absent were: Amber Baxter, Pam Ginsberg, John M. Hark, Brandi Lionberger, Jeanie Powers, Tom Prater, and Pam Warfield.  Also present was Cindy Haun and Librarian Hallie Yundt Silver.

 

Library Board member Kim Ahrens called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

 

Hallie Yundt Silver notified Kim Ahrens that the public hearing was noticed at the Library, on the Library’s website, and at City Hall.  A legal ad was placed in the newspaper, and it ran on May 30, 2014.  A copy of the Budget was posted at the Library’s Front Desk for public inspection.

 

Hallie Yundt Silver made a presentation on the Budget for Fiscal Years 2013-2014 and 2014-2015.

 

There was no public comment.

 

Moved by Frank DiTillo and supported by Kim Ahrens to adjourn.  Motion carried.

 

The public hearing adjourned at 4:15 p.m.
