Description LAGRANGE, MO/HANNIBAL, MO - A letter about the Mark Twain Zephyr Dedication was sent to the City of LaGrange by Morris Anderson of the Hannibal Chamber of Commerce on October 26, 1935. This is the acknowledgement letter from the mayor of LaGrange. In the letter he congratulates the Chamber on the festivities and expresses his pride that Betty Stephens, representing his city, was chosen Becky Thatcher.
