Description HANNIBAL, MO - Crowds gather to celebrate the 10th birthday of the Mark Twain Zephyr. In attendance are Ralph Budd, President of the C B & Q Railroad (who also attended the 1935 dedication), Mrs. Ralph Vaughn (nee Betty Stephens, winner of the Becky Thatcher contest at the dedication), a number of railroad executives, and dignitaries from the towns along the Zephyr's route. The winners of the Tom Sawyer contest (Milton Duvall, Jr.) and the Huck Finn contest (Harold Timmerman) are unable to attend as they are in the military
