| Description | KANSAS CITY - An unidentified workman is seen checking the undercarriage of the Mark Twain Zephyr as it is prepared for its move to Mid American in Joliet, IL. The front of the train is missing the cow-catcher (shovel nose usually seen at the bottom of the engine) because it is too low to fit on the special ramp constructed to move the train to the necessary track. The special ramp is seen at the lower right of the picture. |
