DESCRIPTION	ILASCO, MO - This is a picture of the altar of the Dr. Martin Luther Slovak Evangelical Lutheran Church.  In 1971, after the church ceased its existence as a congregation, this altar was sold to the Luther Manor Nursing Home in Hannibal.  The pews were sold to a Hannibal church.  Even though the church building itself is no more, these historic artifacts live on.  In addition, the bell was saved and later returned to the Ilasco Area Historical Preservation Society.
